PCA Masters XI – 30th June 2017

cricket

Following 10 years of fantastic Leigh Academies Trust v Lashings Charity Cricket matches we have decided the time is right to take on a new challenge in 2017. On Friday 30th June, The Leigh Academies Trust have invited the PCA Masters XI to be the opposition in our event as part of their Golden Jubilee celebration. The format of the day will be very similar to what you have come to know and expect – a fabulous three course gourmet lunch and a 25-25 over match between the best of our young Kent Students and the PCA Masters at the prestigious Bexley Cricket Club.

As part of the established afternoon’s entertainment, we will again be holding the fantastic auction of superb sporting memorabilia and other equally superlative prizes with all proceeds being gift-aided to The Leigh Academies Trust, to support the education and sporting opportunities of over 10,000 young people in Kent and South London. In previous years your generous bidding and participation in the day has contributed to making a considerable difference to these young people.

The PCA Masters are the most talented of all former England Cricket Internationals.  Some of the players we anticipate being part of the event are included in the promotional leaflet accompanying this letter. The auction will be hosted by former England cricketer Ed Giddins and his company, Full Event Management. Their service is exemplary and the items in the auction will be truly world-class.

This is a great opportunity to reward your team for their hard work and for them to bond in a non-work environment, whilst also giving you the opportunity to meet other people and organisations that work in and with the sixteen academies of the Trust. We have held the 2016 price of £650 plus VAT for a table of 10.  As in previous sell-out years we have limited the event to just 40 tables.
